The Cedar Porch sits on a quiet cove halfway up the lake, which is the whole point: it is ten minutes to the Texas ramps and ten minutes to the Louisiana line, so you fish either side without a plan. The wraparound porch faces due west, and the evening light you booked it for arrives every night without fail.
Inside, room for eight across four bedrooms, a great room that opens to the water, and a kitchen set up for a real dinner, not a reheated one. Down the lawn there is a private dock with a covered slip and a swim ladder. Everything here was walked, cleaned, and confirmed before your name went on the calendar.
